ARE YOU FEELING DEPRESSED, DOWN? THERE IS GOOD NEWS FOR YOU.

Depression can be refers as tribulation, unexpected challenges, suffering, hardship. Feeling depressed can come in any form to humans’ life. Depression has ruined many lives. But I want you to know that Jesus has your back.

Sometimes you may not understand what’s going on but you can be rest assured that God has the final say in your life. I want you to know that the poorest person on earth is not the person without money but someone without Jesus. If God brings you to it means, he will bring you through it. It is not over in your life.

The Lord Jesus has your back. You are not left alone in all journey and struggles of life and gives you hope for a brighter future.  There is light at the end of the tunnel. Always remember, lots of people in the scripture have fought for the same course you are running.

Rollo May, in his quote, described “depression as the inability to construct a future”.

Matt Haig, said in his own word that “it is very hard to explain to a person who has never known serious depression or anxiety the sheer continuous intensity of it. There is no off switch”.

Elizabeth gilbert, “When night falls again and again, and you have no idea where you are, you should know that you are on the path that you don’t even know from which direction the sun rises anymore by”.

WHAT DID GOD SAY CONCERNING ANXIETY?
When you feel down, look above, God is there, you are not alone your creator is with you. Let’s quickly scan through the scripture verses.

John 16:32 reads “Be still in the presence of the Lord (remain calm at all time); wait patiently for Him to act”.

Psalm 37:7, I want you to know that God listen to all your heart request from time to time.

Isaiah40;31, But those that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

Philippians 4:13, makes us to understand that “We can do ALL things through Him who strength us”.

Jeremiah, 29:11, God plans for your life, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the lord, plans for welfare and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

1peter 5:7,No matter how big they is the problem. Cast it all (Depression, anxieties) upon Him, because He cares for you. Proverb 3:5-6, psalm 30:5,
When you are sad? Search for Him and Pray.

I want you to know that the storm that was sent to break you is going to be the storm God uses to make you.  When you are down, depressed lift up your eyes to the hills, and help shall arise from the Lord the maker of heaven and earth Psalm 121; 1-2.

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” The Good News: Dealing with depression can be scary. But this verse reminds you that with God on your side, there's nothing to fear.

There are a lot of ways to help build a trust in God, but here are a few that helped me. Request guidance. It's ok to ask for help from God. For clarity.
Seek support and culture. In times when you're struggling, it's ok to ask those you love for help. ...

Hear. Keep an eye on Jesus.
Though it's always been a human issue, nobody really knows why. But what Christians know is that when we suffer God is not silent. Depressed children of God have been able to find hope and a reason to endure on every page of the Scriptures. Take for instance 2Corinthians 4:16-18.

Take your pain to God
You can begin to experience the inward renewal experienced by the apostle Paul when you come to God with your suffering. By the time we suffer, God seems far away. You think He exists, but it seems as though He's too busy with everything else, or He just doesn't care.

God is good enough to end the misery, after all, but He has not. Using the Psalms to help you find words concerning your heart that will speak to God.

Do your personal prayers to God in Psalm 88 and Psalm 86.
Be on alert against supernatural warfare. Depressed people are highly vulnerable to arguments by Satan that God is not healthy.

The death of Jesus on the cross proves the love of God for you. This is the only tool that's powerful enough to stand against the lies of Satan. 1 John 4:9,10 (Romans 5:6-8) Know on surviving and persevering. (Romans 5:3, James 1:2-4, Hebrews 12:1)

Know this about depression: Not saying the whole truth. It means you’re all alone, nobody loves you, God doesn't matter, you’re never going to feel something different and you can't go on another day.

Be constant in prayer until you break the chain of depression and victory will be yours. Remain blessed.
